भारतीय डाक यानी इंडिया पोस्ट ने वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 में वेतन और भत्तों पर 16,620 करोड़ रुपये ख़र्च किए. इसमें पेंशन का ख़र्च 9,782 करोड़ रुपये भी जोड़ दें तो कुल ख़र्च 26,400 करोड़ रुपये हो जाता है.
