Ramaswami: THERE was a protest organised against the custodial death of SFI leader Sudipta Gupta, on the occasion of the visit of the chief minister, Mamata Banerjee, to the Planning Commission office on April 9, 2013. In the course of this protest, an incident took place involving the finance minister, Amit Mitra. The CPI(M) has disapproved and condemned this incident. The party will look into how this has happened.
