Ramaswami: Several profitable companies were running profitably till a few years back in the foundry cluster in Coimbatore, which was established in 1978. NewsClick team visited the cluster and interviewed a proprietor of a foundry factory. He said that the policies adopted by the Modi-led BJP government including demonetisation and GST has led to the gradual decline of the industry.
