The struggle of the farmers and their movement is now being shown on film after being presented in a newspaper. It has two objectives: the first is that cinema is a powerful medium which enables a greater reach; secondly, people who cannot read newspapers can understand what the movement is through cinema; why it exists, what are the issues, what is its inspiration?
