Ramaswami: Veteran CPI(M) leader and ex-MP Basudeb Acharia was allegedly attacked by TMC goons on Friday when he accompanied his party members to fill-up nomination forms for upcoming Panchayat polls. The incident happened in Kashipur block of Purulia district of the state. Acharia was brutally roughed up and is currently admitted in ICU in Purulia Sadar hospital. Acharia is member of CPI(M)'s Central Committee.
